Growing an Established Business Through Ecommerce

Fluitek

In 2020, Fluitek aimed to elevate their e-commerce platform with the help of ArgonDigital. They developed a 3-5 year strategy to enhance the customer purchasing journey, reach a broader audience, and expand their e-commerce catalog to over one million products. The significant next step was figuring out how to actualize this vision. The solution was to transition to the new Magento 2 Commerce platform to take advantage of its impressive features and enhancements, including specialized B2B functionalities, marketplace integrations, and enhanced scalability. Working alongside ArgonDigital and Magento, Fluitek has established itself as a premier source for both businesses and consumers looking to purchase industrial filters online. “Magento has significantly benefited our business! It has streamlined the process for customers to find the right replacement parts from our catalog of over 240,000 SKUs—something that was previously quite challenging. Replacing FileNet with a Scalable Alfresco ECM

Texas Education Agency

The Texas Education Agency oversees public primary and secondary education in Texas, supporting over 2,000 school districts and charter schools. They enlisted the help of ArgonDigital to replace an outdated and costly enterprise content management (ECM) system that had become obsolete. The previous system, a legacy FileNet Content Services application, contained more than 2 million records but no longer fulfilled their requirements. Transitioning to a new ECM system was a significant challenge due to the critical nature of the content it managed, with over 10 integrations to the old application and 30 different stakeholder groups reliant on it. Furthermore, the deadline to decommission the legacy system was firm, allowing no margin for error. The outcome was promising; the Alfresco implementation satisfied all security and record retention compliance standards. Additionally, there was a tenfold reduction in the number of servers needed for the solution. The agency was able to effectively and reliably handle Public Information Requests. Most importantly, ArgonDigital successfully completed the migration and decommissioned the legacy system within the designated time and budget. Since then, the system has continued to evolve as the TEA incorporates more use cases, particularly around digitizing documents that were previously maintained on paper.
