AQUA Forte emerged from the friendship of Paolo, Roberto, and Ian, who shared a passion for Italian culture and cuisine. Coming from varied professional backgrounds, they fulfilled their dream of establishing an Italian restaurant in Sri Lanka’s historic Galle Fort. Since its inception in May 2019, AQUA Forte has been dedicated to presenting authentic Italian gastronomy, combining finest ingredients with culinary artistry. Their menu is complemented by a selection of wines imported from ten distinct Italian regions. Located on Leyn Baan Street amidst the charm of Galle Fort, the restaurant offers a refined dining experience crafted by skilled chefs who skillfully blend science and creativity.
