CloutHub is an innovative social media platform built from the ground up. Unlike mainstream sites like Twitter and Facebook, it is carefully crafted to remove corporate bias and influence from social conversations, allowing users to make a significant social impact. Social media is crucial for fostering communities that can collaborate and share ideas, and it has become an important source of news and information for younger generations. Additionally, social media has intensified discussions surrounding social and political issues. However, many believe that platforms like Facebook and Twitter do not operate in a free and fair manner, with accusations that their rules favor certain voices while silencing others. CloutHub Inc., located in California, aimed to create a social media platform that remains unbiased and equitable for all users. From a technical standpoint, CloutHub sought to incorporate the best features of Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube into a single platform. APPiLY Technologies was tasked with developing a custom social media platform from scratch to meet CloutHub's needs. We delivered a comprehensive end-to-end social networking solution, featuring both mobile and web applications at the front end, along with APIs and databases at the back end, all deployed on the AWS Cloud. The platform was designed for scalability from the outset, capable of accommodating millions of user accounts and posts daily. Our AWS deployment was optimized for cost-effectiveness and adaptability to demand. We constructed the front end and back end in a modular way, allowing for easy swapping and modifications of platform features, which was vital for CloutHub to implement new features, gather user feedback, and swiftly adapt to user needs and behaviors.

Custom eCommerce Platform

RK Sales Corporation

Created for RK Sales Corporation, a prominent supplier of bath and kitchen products, this bespoke eCommerce application provides vendors with immediate access to their product catalogs. It facilitates the straightforward placement of bulk orders and allows for real-time monitoring of shipping status, thus enhancing the procurement and logistics process. As a wholesale distributor of bath and kitchen items, RK Sales Corporation serves numerous distributors across India, who traditionally placed orders through email and phone calls. RK Sales aimed to transition to an online system for order placements and real-time inventory updates. The company frequently announces promotions and discounts that must be communicated promptly to vendors. The application is designed to be adaptable to enable various employee levels within the vendors to take actions that require supervisor approval. Additionally, RK Sales employs sales executives who collaborate with multiple vendors to place orders on their behalf. To achieve this, RK Sales Corporation teamed up with APPILY Technologies to create and launch this eCommerce platform, transitioning their sales processes online. We developed a mobile application for both RK Sales' vendors and sales executives, ensuring a quick deployment for operational use. We also integrated features to maintain synchronization of inventory, orders, and other data with the existing accounting systems for a seamless transition.

Workflow Management App

Merittrac

A tailored Workflow Management App designed to facilitate the venue management process for Merittrac, a company under the Manipal Group and a leader in conducting assessment tests and competitive exams in India. Merittrac organizes these assessments across numerous venues nationwide. They adhere to strict rules and guidelines for selecting venues for each exam. Given that these locations include remote areas, managing the venue readiness workflow through traditional offline methods is both time-consuming and prone to errors. Additionally, during exams, recording and processing students' fingerprints as they enter and exit venues must be done promptly at the head office. APPiLY Technologies collaborated with Merittrac to create a workflow management app and admin dashboard that streamlines the Venue Management workflow. The app includes features such as live location tracking, photo and video capture, fingerprint scanning, and QR and BarCode scanning, enabling examiners to securely gather all necessary information and transmit it to the head office in real time. We also implemented an offline mode in the app, allowing for data and photo capture without network connectivity, which can then be synced with the server once the mobile device is back online.
