The Project: Our goal is to create educational content aimed at users of waste disposal systems to enhance public understanding of recycling's importance. Our Role: We developed a custom media player that utilizes ARM board hardware and its integrated GPU. By adding essential hardware drivers and optimizing the system, we enabled efficient hardware acceleration on the board while drastically reducing CPU usage for vital robot software operations. This optimization cut CPU usage from 95% down to just 10%, allowing complex graphics to be rendered smoothly on the embedded device. The final product is a comprehensive solution that effectively links the robot to a web interface, facilitating the loading, storage, playback, and editing of media on the Trashbot. Challenges: We faced the significant engineering challenge of creating modern browsers and hardware drivers capable of supporting graphically demanding videos on only 1 GB of memory, which our team successfully addressed by integrating Gstreamer with the Trashbot operating system. Results: We produced a hardware-accelerated media player built on Gstreamer, reducing CPU usage from 95% to 10%, which allowed the Trashbot's brain to focus on more critical robotic functions while ensuring smooth media playback with hardware acceleration during the device's operation and waste disposal.

Sweden's Municipalities and Regions (SKR) operates as both a member and employer organization for all municipalities and regions throughout the country. It is governed by elected representatives from these municipalities and regions. The Project involves collecting and analyzing data from all healthcare facilities and hospitals across Sweden, providing essential insights into wait times, disease prevalence, regional effectiveness, and the overall performance of the healthcare system. This system offers decision-makers a centralized platform to track the country's healthcare advancements, as well as to inform Swedish citizens about the functioning of healthcare systems nationwide. Our Role involves enhancing software operations by ensuring system security and scalability, implementing improvements, and updating outdated components. We reorganized the system's structure and architecture, optimized backend engineering and infrastructure design, and managed all software development activities related to these aspects. The Challenge lies in maintaining both legacy and modern systems that utilize a diverse array of technologies, while also boosting the current system’s performance through the addition of new features.

Introducing OnBatch, the leading ERP SaaS solution for manufacturers around the globe. Effortlessly manage production, tracking, and analysis across the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia. The Project: The OnBatch system allows manufacturers to optimize production, monitor materials, manage inventory, navigate taxation, handle transactions, and carry out accounting functions, all while offering comprehensive reporting and dashboard capabilities. Our Role: Apexa successfully created and launched a distributed multi-tenant SaaS application for our client, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL technologies such as SQL Server, Elastic Search, and ArangoDB to serve thousands of enterprise customers. Using the .Net framework and Angular, our team led the design, coordination, and execution of the entire system, ensuring it was scalable and met the client's specifications. This solution enables our client to provide a high-performance SaaS application to a growing customer base while maintaining global stability and efficiency. Challenges: The goal was to develop a comprehensive ERP and MRP system to support manufacturers in the US, EU, and Canada, simplifying the traditional ERP challenges and allowing manufacturers to onboard users in minutes. The resulting multi-tenant system accommodates thousands of businesses worldwide with an uptime of 99.91%. Results: A fully integrated ERP system encompassing all supply chain components from Purchasing to Sales, complete with advanced reporting and dashboard features.
