he Answer Company & Sage X3: Danica scales in style, growing operations during the pandemic

When Danica decided it was time to upgrade its technology platform, it sought help from its long-standing partner, The Answer Company. “Our business was expanding rapidly, hiring more staff and broadening our product offerings, but our outdated ERP system couldn’t keep pace,” said Sushil Arora, CEO of Danica. “We lacked insight into our operations and were missing the comprehensive distribution and international capabilities necessary for growth.” Danica considered two new options, Sage X3 and Syspro. Although Arora believed either solution could work for the company, Danica ultimately chose Sage X3. “The primary reason for selecting Sage X3 was the trust we have in The Answer Company. They have consistently shown their integrity throughout our partnership, and we are confident they will treat us well.” Shortly after the implementation, the pandemic hit. Danica was fortunate; orders kept coming in as customers concentrated on home-related products. Although the company's supply chain faced challenges due to the uncertainty, the ability to continue cross-border exports without delays was a positive aspect. “Thanks to Sage X3, we were in a strong position. While some areas of our business were struggling, we were actually growing in others during the downturn,” Arora noted.

Mountain Top Foods Doubles Size with The Answer Company and Sage X3

Less than two years after adopting Sage X3, Mountain Top Foods saw its size double. "We couldn't have achieved this without The Answer Company and Sage X3," states Calvert. "And we reached that milestone with just one additional administrative hire." Mountain Top Foods is still on a growth trajectory and intends to enhance Sage X3’s functionalities to support that expansion. For instance, they have plans for an automated data capture project to streamline the collection of product and lot information from receiving raw materials to shipping to customers. "The Answer Company is an excellent partner for this effort," concludes Calvert. "They are responsive, knowledgeable, and excel at bringing ideas to life."
