Annata’s Nordic foundation is shaped by the striking contrasts of its harsh yet beautiful nature, the prolonged dark winters and bright summers, and the resilient yet adaptable people – these elements serve as our core. This is our story. Prior to Microsoft's acquisition of Navision and Damgaard in Denmark, the two innovative Danish ERP software companies had achieved record market share in the Nordic region. Numerous VARs and ISVs contributed to this success, which in 2002 became the foundation of Microsoft's entry into the Business Solutions market. Annata's origins are rooted in the early development of these Danish ERP solutions, enhancing and expanding their functionality for specific customers and industry segments. In the early 1990s, the team at Annata began creating software solutions for automotive and heavy machinery companies, which later became Annata's primary focus.
