After years of persistence, I was able to leave my full-time job in 2015 to help individuals like you realize their digital aspirations as an independent web designer. Like many web designers, my career path hasn’t been straightforward; I initially trained as a teacher and worked in the English department of a Chinese university, where I taught myself the basics of visual identity and branding in my spare time. I’m also part of the Backhouse/Morgan Marriage Experiment with my partner, Kathryn, which started a decade ago and is set to continue indefinitely. She’s fantastic! We live in central Harrogate and enjoy our circle of friends and exploring new experiences.
