SaaS solution for automated job advertisements

MrWork develops talent pipelines for recruitment, establishing direct links between companies and their target candidates. They assist in attracting applicants, crafting personalized candidate experiences, and ensuring that suitable individuals apply. Additionally, MrWork reaches candidates who are not actively seeking employment. The collaboration with Amsterdam Standard began in 2015 when they hired a single developer for a project. Over the next four years, the developer count increased, with some being based in the Netherlands (primarily front-end) and others in their Krakow office (mostly back-end). The company sought an efficient method to manage this growing team. The original MrWork system, developed with technologies from 2014, became outdated and challenging to modify, prompting the need for an upgrade. In early 2019, several key changes occurred. MrWork opted to completely rebuild their system based on insights gained over the years, centering their efforts on a SaaS platform. They also decided to consolidate the team within the Amsterdam Standard office and follow the recommendation to hire a Scrum Master nearby to enhance communication and workflow. Additionally, they transitioned from Angular1 to React and Symfony, allowing them to attract skilled professionals capable of meeting high project standards. As it stands, the MrWork team includes four full-time and one part-time developers, along with a Scrum Master from the Amsterdam Standard side and a project manager from MrWork. Thanks to their dedicated efforts over nearly a year, the new system was launched, and by early 2020, all existing and new clients were transitioned to this updated platform. Technically, the new system employs the latest technologies and frameworks, featuring scheduled technology checks during meetings to ensure they stay current. They have fully automated the CI/CD process with tools for code quality, and the system boasts high code coverage through both unit and functional tests, alongside robust log collection and error reporting features. At present, MrWork provides a SaaS solution for automated job advertising. The new system is quick, flexible, and dependable. It can accommodate clients’ feeds in any format, enhancing versatility. To prevent repetitive content from being shown to potential candidates, they developed a smart solution that includes a content library populated with client materials and a range of branded advertisement templates. The system autonomously generates various content combinations and conducts A/B testing to identify the most effective options, ensuring candidates always encounter fresh and captivating content.

Dashboard as a full-service BI tool

Mannenmedia is the sole digital men's network in the Netherlands. They sought a solution that would offer comprehensive business intelligence regarding their monetization strategies and platforms. They required a dashboard that could be utilized both internally by Mannenmedia and externally by their publisher clients to deliver immediate insights into earnings. Our developers established the API connections between various advertising platforms and the dedicated server for the Mannenmedia dashboard. They focused on filtering, sorting, and consolidating data across various dimensions and metrics spanning different advertising platforms. Symfony 4 was employed as the backend framework, while Angular was chosen for the frontend. After a year of design, development, and numerous discussions between Mannenmedia and the Amsterdam Standard teams, the dashboard was successfully launched. Mannenmedia now has a fast, dependable, and scalable dashboard that offers the entire team both overarching and detailed views of their earnings. The dashboard’s functionality significantly reduces the time spent generating monthly reports for both commercial and financial teams. An added advantage is that Mannenmedia's publishers receive daily updated insights into their earnings, keeping them informed of what to anticipate at the end of the month.

From camera app to the SaaS platform - GoPhoto

Amsterdam Standard has collaborated with GoPhoto to create an innovative model for attraction photography technology that enhances visitor engagement while generating new revenue opportunities. The project's concept revolves around offering free photos to significantly boost sales of premium images, gather visitor data, increase social media exposure, and elevate advertising revenue. This model is underpinned by various applications that comprise the comprehensive GoPhoto suite, delivering an all-in-one photography solution for busy attractions. Visitors can also buy and download their high-resolution digital photos online. The e-commerce system is fully automated and can be set up in just a few minutes. The dashboard functionalities are integral to the product suite, enabling real-time tracking of user and sales metrics, launching automated email campaigns, customizing the photo website's design, and managing overall settings. As a result, GoPhoto and Amsterdam Standard have developed a lucrative business model for popular attractions. GoPhoto was also awarded the Innovation Award at The Park World Excellence Awards. Attractions that had previously ceased photo sales due to declining revenue have now been persuaded by GoPhoto to explore new opportunities and potential income streams.
