Founded in 1980 by Alfred R. Bruzzese Jr., AMA Transportation Company Co Inc. began as a modest two-truck operation serving Eastern Massachusetts. Drawing from over 25 years in the transportation field, Alfred’s journey from truck driver to owner instilled a deep commitment to hard work, ethics, and exceptional customer service. Although Alfred has passed, his principles remain the heartbeat of AMA, upheld by his sons Mark, Alfred, and Anthony. Under their stewardship, what started as a small dream has evolved into a premier LTL carrier with a fleet exceeding 100 units, delivering reliable overnight service across New England and expanding into the New York and New Jersey markets.
