Calisto Grand /ACCEE is the foremost provider of exemplary Credit Management practices in Central Europe, dedicated to achieving the highest standards in Order to Cash processes throughout Central and Eastern Europe. For the 2018 annual conference, we aimed to create a corporate video that promotes a fictional sci-fi narrative centered around the theme "Defying Gravity." As a creative agency, we intentionally crafted this communication to express corporate messages, values, and concerns, enhancing our messaging through a short film—a crucial tool in delivering specific ideas that aligns with the brand while integrating seamlessly into marketing and communication strategies. The essence of this content lies in storytelling that is energetic, enjoyable, and innovative, embodying the spirit of branded content. This concept was developed in partnership with Antonio Pedro Nobre, a talented Portuguese screenwriter who contributed to our team. The scriptwriting process extended over a few weeks, and production encountered various challenges regarding locations, such as the Shuttle cockpit, the control room, and recreations of Apollo 13's interior. Utilizing green screen technology allowed us to add backgrounds, stars, and the Earth using CGI and visual effects, with the shuttle designed in 3D through the open-source program Blender. We conducted three days of shooting with Blackmagic 4K cameras, employing gimbals for smooth movements and a traditional crew. Video editing was done with Adobe Premiere and After Effects, while DaVinci Resolve handled color grading and correction. Post-production took several weeks to perfect the visual effects.

The commercial for Iveco was developed as part of an international campaign promoting the new 2016 Iveco city bus, primarily aimed at airport-to-city transportation. This project marked the first institutional video created in the Czech Republic for Fiat Iveco, which typically partners with Alchi Media and our leading director based in Prague. It involved a film co-production with the Italian agency La Bottega dell’Immagine based in Turin. As a film service, we encountered a challenging production process that spanned several days, including a week of pre-production, two days for location scouting, two days of filming, and a week of editing, all in collaboration with the Brno Film Office and the City of Brno. We explored the southern region of Moravia for various filming locations, with shoots occurring in and around Brno, Brno Airport, the Palava region, Slavkov u Brna/Austerlitz Castle, and Sonberk vineyard. The crew consisted of eight top filmmakers from Moravia, including the director, assistant director, director of photography, sound engineer, toolmaker, producer, and two production assistants, along with several extras. Moving shots were captured using a steadicam, as well as a dolly and crane, both mounted on a vehicle and from the ground, allowing us to achieve heights of up to six meters. The footage was shot with an Alexa Mini and edited with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, with color grading and correction done using DaVinci Resolve.
