About the Team

OUR STORY
Inspired by his uncle, a Hollywood TV photographer, Ron's passion for capturing authentic moments blossomed early. At 20, while studying at UC Santa Barbara, he became a solo caretaker on California's remote San Miguel Island, engaging with scientists and participating in environmental studies. This experience shifted him away from city life, leading him to spend a decade as a ranger with the National Park Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service. Ron later pursued jazz piano briefly at Berklee College and embarked on photography tours worldwide, eventually settling in Alaska in 1981. His work has been featured in prestigious publications like National Geographic and Smithsonian and displayed in renowned museums and galleries globally. Committed to highlighting shared human experiences, Ron
