OUR STORY
Matthew Myers, COO and Executive Vice President of AKA New Media, brings a unique blend of creative and social advocacy experiences to his leadership role. With an academic background from the University of Toronto in Psychology, Political Science, and International Development, Matthew initially engaged in entertainment and social advocacy projects locally and internationally. In 1997, he co-founded AKA New Media with Assadour Kirijian, focusing on interactive digital solutions. Over 24 years, Matthew has been instrumental in shaping AKA into a pioneer in interactive website design and digital strategies, particularly within the nonprofit sector. Passionate about client success, he leads major interactive projects with strategic insight. Residing in Toronto with his wife and four children, Matthew balances work with family life and enjoys biking and hockey.
