Barona, Finland's leading private employment agency, began its collaboration with AI Roots 1.5 years ago. The journey toward enhancing Barona's data capabilities initially involved updating its data vision and identifying new opportunities. Since then, significant progress has been made in Barona’s data endeavors. Utilizing work-life data has become essential to fulfilling their mission of fostering a better, fairer, and more successful work environment. Groke Technologies specializes in multi-sensor and advanced voyage advisory systems, catering to all parties involved in vessel operations. The company relies heavily on data, which is an integral part of its product, having amassed millions of ocean images globally. From the outset, Groke recognized that its standards for data collection, quality, and partnerships would be rigorous. Rokka explains that their system incorporates three key components: artificial intelligence, machine learning-based sensor fusion, and the user interface. The use of data for system development has been an ongoing learning experience, with AI Roots playing a significant role in this process. Both Groke and AI Roots, founded in 2019, began their collaboration around the same time. Rokka appreciated AI Roots’ expertise in the start-up environment and their ability to accelerate progress. Additionally, AI Roots played a crucial role in establishing Konecranes’ Data Design process.
