Velocity Fiber is an innovative service provider that offers carrier-grade lit and dark fiber wide area networks (WANs) to universities, K-12 school districts, municipalities, and major institutions nationwide. The ability to quickly gather and analyze the latest information from various online sources was essential for Velocity Fiber’s team to enhance existing sales efforts and discover new opportunities. Collaborating with key employees at Velocity Fiber, Adaptful Tech engaged in discussions to gain a comprehensive understanding of Velocity's business model, asking pertinent questions about how the data they collected impacted their sales process at different stages. With this insight, they formulated a detailed scope of work and reviewed it with the Velocity team to ensure it aligned with their objectives. This led to an iterative development process utilizing various software tools, resulting in the creation of a data aggregation hub that featured a modern, user-friendly dashboard allowing users to delve into a rich network of related information. The new proprietary software platform, owned by Velocity Fiber, significantly enhanced the efficiency of data collection, aiding in filtering existing sales opportunities and discovering new ones, while also saving the company thousands of dollars annually in software costs and the time required for data gathering and analysis. XReps Data Visualization Platform

The XReps XR platform immerses players in cognitive exercises, simulations, and challenges that allow quarterbacks to practice in scenarios that previously required a full team and organized sessions for valuable repetitions. The system utilizes analytics to measure performance variables that were once difficult to quantify, thereby providing an extensive and effective assessment of performance. To facilitate this, XReps needed to transfer data from VR headsets to an AWS cloud environment. After the data upload, it had to be formatted for coaches and quarterbacks to easily interpret their performance. XReps tracks over a dozen data points for each play executed by the quarterback, resulting in a large volume of data that needed to be aggregated, processed, and quickly understood. Adaptful Tech undertook a comprehensive discovery phase to grasp the challenges faced by XReps. The subsequent step involved crafting a work scope. Using their agile approach, they created a dashboard that compiles all quarterback performance data into an easily understandable format for coaches and players to enhance their skills.
