In our research, 86 percent of consumers expressed that banks are largely similar, leading us to recognize a challenge for Webster Bank. Although they had a brand platform, "Living Up to You," we needed to enhance its impact in a more distinctive manner. To make the brand more relevant to Webster Bank's audience, we explored the intersection of Webster's identity, the priorities of its target market, and the gaps left by competitors. Our findings indicated that consumers greatly value responsive and personalized service, yet no other bank was effectively highlighting this quality. Consequently, we developed a comprehensive, multi-year brand campaign showcasing how Webster Bank embodies "Living Up to You" by tailoring solutions to help customers achieve their personal goals. The result of this multi-channel effort was a notable increase in revenue along with improved performance across all communication channels.

Observations: Individuals suffering from heartburn and swallowing issues endure significant discomfort. They often dismiss their condition by saying things like “it’s probably just something I ate” or “maybe I have a food allergy,” without seeking an accurate diagnosis for what could be a serious health concern. As a result, they deny themselves one of life’s great pleasures — indulging in their favorite foods. We recognized that they could benefit from a reminder that their experience doesn't have to be this way. Approach: Instead of taking the conventional route of depicting people eating and wincing in pain, we aimed for a more distinctive method that would truly resonate with the struggles faced by our audience. We merged appetizing food visuals with imagery that conveys their emotional impact, while our headlines infused a hint of empathetic humor to encourage people to understand that there are solutions to enhance their eating experience. Outcome: This campaign attracted new patients from diverse sources, resulting in a client who was "very happy" with the outcome.

"Insights Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience sought a local Public Relations agency to enhance earned media during its Hartford exhibit run. Adams & Knight utilized its extensive network in Connecticut's media, tourism, arts, and culture sectors to generate excitement around the exhibit and ensure a successful opening event. Our strategy included launching the immersive experience with a media day and a private ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by local officials and media, featuring scheduled interviews with Connecticut’s Governor and Exhibit Curator & Art Historian Fanny Curtat aimed at attracting regional coverage. We also engaged local and regional social media influencers to create targeted content that inspired audiences to consider attending the event. Additionally, we collaborated with local non-profits to secure additional media coverage and foster goodwill within the community. As a result of our efforts, the exhibit received significant media attention, resulting in 79 placements and 38 million impressions. Following media day and the ribbon-cutting, ticket sales for Beyond Van Gogh surged, prompting the extension of the exhibit run by another month due to high demand."
