Signant Health

Signant Health specializes in generating direct-from-patient evidence for global clinical trials. The company has experienced significant turmoil, including acquisitions, consolidations, multiple name changes, and a rebranding, leading to a pressing need to establish a clear direction. At the same time, the pace of clinical trials accelerated dramatically, requiring exceptional accuracy from diverse data sources. Signant Health sought to engage decision-makers at major pharmaceutical companies to challenge the existing norms, while emphasizing their collaboration with Pfizer in delivering the nation’s first COVID-19 vaccine. We initiated our process with an in-depth exploration of their narrative, followed by an Immersion Session, Stakeholder and Customer Interviews, culminating in a Strategy Brief, Brand and Product Structures, a Competitive Landscape analysis, and a Purpose-Driven Platform alongside an Integrated Story System. These findings informed a Brand Guide and Kit, as well as various integrated initiatives, including a promotional video, a toolkit for the Sales Team, a website overhaul, social media campaigns, direct mail efforts, an e-book, infographics, and several webinars. With a clear understanding of their True North, all team members, including the newly appointed leadership, are prepared to guide Signant Health toward significant growth and to fully realize its potential as an industry leader during this remarkable period.

Cayman Jack

Margaritas were often seen as drinks for ladies, typically enjoyed at summer gatherings. This was the prevailing view of the popular adult beverage in the market. Cayman Jack partnered with 20nine to shift this perception and establish the brand's presence. We associated Cayman Jack with adventure, creating an appeal among male consumers. Describing it as "Bold, natural…with just the right bite," we paid homage to the crocodile, or “cayman,” featured on every bottle and can. Utilizing our Insight Out Archetype™ tool, we developed a unique buyer persona to help elevate the brand. The brand launch was robust, consistent, and determined, leading to increased distribution and rising sales figures. The brand strategy, narrative, and identity generated significant momentum and fostered a community of Cayman Jack drinkers who loved to seek adventure anytime, anywhere, complemented by the authentic taste of their margarita.

Millworks

Situated in the center of Midtown Harrisburg, The Millworks Brewery has embraced the rich history and promising future of a community undergoing significant revitalization. The team is dedicated to fostering the renewal of their beloved town. As passionate creators, they aim to inspire others to craft their own magic. Their menu is designed with ingredients sourced from local farms, each with its unique narrative, and their beautiful space, once a woodworking mill, now serves as a creative hub for talented local artists to produce and showcase their work. They are committed to transforming the past into meaningful new experiences, and we sought to convey their story. 20nine’s mission was to design packaging for their first bottled beer. We felt it was essential to depict the Midtown Harrisburg area authentically and artistically, drawing on the heritage that makes it unique. Inspired by their former wood mill location, we created a custom linocut illustration that captures a dynamic view of the neighborhood, featuring the Broad Street Market—one of the oldest farmers' markets in the nation—the local farms that supply their fresh ingredients, and the historic architecture along with the mountainous backdrop of Midtown Harrisburg. This illustration graced their bottle labels, box labels (for both 12-packs and 6-packs), and a beer festival tent. We opted for a straightforward design to allow the artwork to stand out, using black-and-white packaging with splashes of color to identify each beer type. Each label highlights a specific section of the overall linocut illustration, which is fully displayed on the boxes. We ensured our design could be easily adapted for custom variety packs and any new beers that The Millworks may introduce in the future.
