Pick&Pack Christmas and Easter Ramp Up

18 Wheels Warehousing has been collaborating with our current client for nearly four years. Each year, we establish extra pick and pack stations to support our customer during two seasonal peak times. During the Christmas season, we add 25 more pick and pack stations and operate around the clock to manage the high volume. We pick, pack, and ship over 1.6 million units within a span of less than two months, beginning in early November and concluding by mid-December.

Dedicated 10,000 pallet racked operation

A request was made to establish 10,000 dedicated pallet racked locations. After the agreement was finalized, we began installing the racking within 30 days, and the entire setup was finished within 90 days. We began receiving products just weeks after signing the agreement. The EDI integration was completed within 60 days as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). At the customer's request, we employed a manual process to handle inbound shipments before the EDI integration was finalized due to the urgency of the deliveries.

After signing the agreement, we commenced the racking setup within 30 days, and the entire process was finalized within 90 days. We began receiving products just weeks after the agreement was finalized. EDI integration was accomplished within 60 days, in accordance with the SLA. At the customer's request, we implemented a manual process prior to completing the EDI integration due to the urgent need for incoming shipments. Our collaboration involved setting up distribution in warehouses located in both Vancouver and Toronto. We assisted the customer in expanding within Canada by establishing re-pack lines to create new SKUs for Costco, which were stored at the same facilities.
