Prime Video - PR for Amazon’s Hottest Comedy

Amazon Prime Video

Promoting the popular comedy 'Upload' on Amazon Prime during a strike involving actors and writers required an innovative approach, so we turned to the fans for help. Our strategy combined traditional methods with fresh ideas. We aimed to link the TV show to current cultural discussions by including not only established entertainment voices but also new influencers from outside the industry who were excited to discuss the upcoming season. With a tight timeline, we collaborated with entertainment journalists and twenty-five influencers to generate conversations about the new season that would blend seamlessly into their existing content and platforms. We created an impressive press kit for these influencers and journalists across the country, coordinating its release with the debut of new episodes to maintain momentum throughout the season. The result was striking, capturing the attention of tens of millions and raising awareness for the new season while drawing in new viewers. The demand for our press kits was so high that we had to increase our initial order. The season premiere earned significant coverage in national media and was prominently featured in major entertainment news segments.
