Content Marketing: B2B Furniture Supplier
INDUSTRY: B2B furniture supplier
OBJECTIVES: To attract new users to the client's brand through valuable educational content. To guide leads through the conversion process using relevant blog material. To enhance the client’s reputation, authority, and trust within the industry.
OUTCOMES: Achieved 34,878 organic visits to blog posts (48% of total organic traffic), boosted conversions from blog visits by 70%, secured 74 keywords on the first page of Google search results, and gained 13 featured snippets.
RESULTS SUMMARY: The blog has become a crucial source of traffic and conversions for the client’s website. Over the first two years of our strategy, blog content represented nearly half of the site's organic visits. The blog now averages almost 1,500 organic sessions each month, a significant rise from the previous two years when it generated only 15% of the organic traffic, equating to about 480 sessions per month. Therefore, blog visits saw a 504% increase compared to the earlier period. We not only attracted new users but also ensured they were qualified prospects interested in purchasing from our client. The blog led to 112 form submissions and quote requests, marking a 70% increase compared to the prior two years, and it contributed to 8% of the domain’s goal completions. It is important to note that while the client’s website generates leads, order processing is conducted offline by their sales team. In addition, we successfully added new keywords, enhancing the domain's presence in organic search results, with the blog ranking for 526 search terms, 14% of which are on Google's first page. Prior to the implementation of the new blog strategy, the client’s blog was indexed for just 92 keywords, with only 8.7% appearing on the first page. Moreover, the client’s blog content was featured in 13 Google snippets.
