Motto began over 20 years ago as a creative web agency based in Montreal. We take pride in the fact that many of our original clients continue to work with us today—there can be no better endorsement than that. Initially, we focused on e-commerce development, particularly using PHP frameworks like Magento. We are a small, agile team based in Montreal, Canada’s hub of technology and arts, where the city's rich culture continuously inspires us and encourages us to embody this diversity in our projects. Our close collaboration with clients allows us to tackle their challenges and produce high-quality projects on a daily basis. As we expanded, we noticed an increasing demand for smaller, more affordable websites, leading us to create customized WordPress sites for our expanding clientele. Many clients also sought modern custom PHP applications during that time, allowing us to introduce contemporary workflows and technologies into the WordPress ecosystem. As our focus on WordPress intensified in response to rising demand, we have since developed several products tailored specifically for this market.
