GoFisherman App
The initiative was launched in response to the fact that millions of small restaurants either lack a website, have an outdated one, or have one that isn’t functioning properly. The primary objective is to create automated websites for these establishments with minimal user involvement. The initial challenge involved developing a tool to gather data and relevant information about the customers for the later creation of the websites. Currently, the focus is on establishing a system that enables customers to perform website customizations, such as selecting themes or uploading images, without needing assistance from Fisherman's staff.
Results include starting with 200 restaurants and expanding to 1,000. The automation process has improved significantly, leading to a decrease in user intervention. New features, such as online ordering and payment options, have been added to the websites. A system was created so that when clients request changes, not all of the code needs to be modified; users can now make edits directly from the settings. The user experience has been enhanced with additional functionalities and greater editing capabilities. Furthermore, an interface with Google My Business was introduced to enable customers to synchronize their systems. As a result, the company has seen increased demand and is considering extending its services to other types of businesses.
