The NASA Earth Science Vision 2030 App was created to communicate the Earth Science Division's vision for the next three decades. The objective was to develop an engaging application that utilizes a specially designed poster to introduce an educational video showcasing this vision. Our team aimed to find a creative method to inform diverse audiences about the exciting future projects NASA is pursuing. We collaborated closely with the NASA team to understand their desired level of audience engagement and to create an interactive narrative. Our process began with interviews with NASA to learn about their engagement strategies. Based on this information, we developed a set of wireframes to serve as a prototype for the app, detailing how users would interact with various media components, including the custom poster and educational video. After several rounds of feedback from NASA, we finalized the user experience (UX) flow. We then designed visual concepts that incorporated elements from existing NASA assets along with our unique style. Once the designs were complete, we began developing the app for both iOS and Android. This included creating the user interface and a prototype for an image recognition feature that triggers the video. After completing these components, we integrated them into a single app, combining all media elements. We then conducted multiple rounds of thorough testing before ultimately releasing the finished version in the app store.

Walgreens Health Corner app

Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) is a global leader in providing integrated healthcare and pharmaceutical services. Collaborating with Microsoft and Adobe, WBA created a digital healthcare and customer insights platform designed to offer users a comprehensive view of their health, facilitating personalized healthcare and shopping experiences, particularly for those managing chronic conditions and daily health needs. During the project, our Senior Product Developer (SA) was the most frequently utilized role, with limited involvement from UI/UX designers in the initial stages. We held discussions with the client-side manager to define the project scope and requirements. Ultimately, the Senior Product Developer became fully integrated as an augmented resource within the client's teams. The project's objectives included developing and launching a healthcare mobile app that connects with insurance health plans and Walgreens Health Corners. The app is designed to deliver personal health insights, wellness updates, and daily management tools, leveraging digital health devices, caregiver connections, access to healthcare professionals, and medication management services. Outcomes of the project included: onboarding process for the beta user group, linking user accounts to health plans, managing user profiles, authorizing and connecting caregivers and care circles, and preparing for the beta launch of the native app.
