About the Team
OUR STORY
Leaving city life behind, we embraced farming to connect with nature and impart essential life skills to our three sons. Our journey has been a tapestry of profound experiences—from celebrating the arrival of newborn alpacas and sheep to enduring the sorrow of their loss. These moments have ingrained in us the delicate and fleeting nature of life, urging us to value each instant. Together, as the Wild Edge Woodcraft Team—Avery Earwood, Chief Woodcrafter; Shannon Earwood, Chief Farmer; Tim Austin, Artisan; and Jayden Earwood, Digital Media Manager—we dedicate ourselves to transforming urban trees into exquisite furniture. To explore this craft further, the journey is detailed in a webinar presented to the NC Urban Forest Council, offering insights into the complete value stream.
