The Challange DBH became our client in 2015, utilizing PinnacleCart for their website at that time. However, PinnacleCart had its limitations, and DBH sought a more scalable and robust server architecture that required minimal management. Additionally, they aimed to enhance their site’s speed to accommodate millions of monthly visitors. We explored various eCommerce platforms such as Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Joomla, and LemonStand (which is currently closed), ultimately choosing the Shopify+ store. The primary challenge was transferring existing data from PinnacleCart—including orders, customers, and products—into Shopify. To address this, we developed a PHP script that extracts data from PinnacleCart and inputs it into Shopify. As a result, we are confident in our successful completion of this task, as we possessed all the necessary skills. We reached our objectives, and the site is now on Shopify+ with numerous customized features implemented through private application development or third-party applications. Currently, DBH is experiencing a very high volume of traffic with an excellent conversion rate.

Issue: The client was using an outdated design, leading to a consistent decline in conversion rates, with some instances resulting in negative figures. Solution: We conducted an analysis of the existing structure and concluded that a complete redesign was necessary. Our thorough UI/UX work commenced, where we carefully crafted sections and ensured they aligned cohesively. Outcome: We successfully wowed the client with a completely new design, which we implemented as a theme on Shopify. Currently, we are in the process of upgrading this to Shopify 2.0.
