Data-Driven Rebranding & Web Development
Millennial Competition in Creative Industry
EFOS’s International Millennium Competition encourages students to transform cultural heritage into ready-to-market prototypes. The previous website was outdated, leading to high abandonment rates and few applications. The challenge was to convert data into growth. The data-driven approach asked whether targeted user experience (UX) and branding could increase registrations. The hypotheses were: (1) More than 65% of users abandoned the process due to friction; (2) A modern identity and mobile-friendly designs could reduce drop-off by at least 50%. Evidence was gathered through analytics (over 70% bounce rate), heatmaps, A/B tests, and more than five stakeholder interviews. The results showed that applications increased significantly, session duration rose by 180%, and the bounce rate dropped by 65%. This demonstrated that evidence-based design can have a substantial positive impact on education. The tech stack included Figma, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, and a custom WordPress theme.
