Traditionally, precious metal derivatives transactions have been facilitated by a voice broker who mediates between traders to negotiate deals. However, a new generation of traders has become accustomed to using online platforms to conduct transactions, which eliminates the need for a broker, lowers fees, and enhances transparency. We developed a pioneering platform specifically designed for precious metal derivatives, targeting the over-the-counter (OTC) interbank markets for precious metal swaps, Exchange for Physical (EFP), and physical precious metal dealers in London and Zurich. This platform offers a mechanism for price discovery and proposals without the need for an intermediary voice broker. Since its launch, Limpid Markets has established itself as the leading platform for precious metal swaps and EFPs. Our clientele comprises well-respected, prominent financial institutions that are members of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), and currently, 75% of all interbank market participants utilize the platform.

Thomson Local sought to modernize a struggling point-of-sale tool without incurring the expenses of hiring an internal development team. We integrated ourselves into their organization, conducted research to identify the best user experience, and created a new product within 12 weeks. Our process began with a thorough analysis of the existing issues, which included observing the sales team in action and conducting a series of one-on-one interviews.
