We founded our company in one of the most impoverished areas of Europe to transform the local environment and provide residents with opportunities for improved livelihoods and employment. Since our inception, we have expanded and diversified our offerings to include a complete range of software solutions, catering to the technology needs of hundreds of clients worldwide. Our operations are based in Europe's Silicon Valley. Founders Emiliyan Kadiyski and Teodor Kostadinov came together early on; Teo was working in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, while Emo was teaching programming and working as a programmer. They envisioned Vola Software as a key player in the development of their beloved hometown, Vratsa. Now a team of over 15, our Bulgarian workforce values open and transparent communication. They are engaged with our clients' business challenges and contribute innovative ideas to every project. We continuously explore future possibilities. Born from the Vratsa Software Academy, which provides free technical education, our passion fuels deep client relationships and drives innovation in areas like continuation engineering and artificial intelligence. A platform designed for educators and students. This platform facilitates the exchange of effective strategies between schools (to support educators and institutions) and among students. It also features listings from companies interested in making in-kind donations. Challenges: The organization requires a platform where users can register, share and search for effective practices, and create advertisements. Results: An online space that connects students, schools, and businesses to share knowledge and resources. The website includes searchable features based on specific criteria, allows for the creation of polls, and enables users to upload photos. Blockchain-Based Insurance Software for The World Bank

A peer-to-peer platform enables users to buy and sell parametric insurance contracts. Users are categorized as Buyers, who seek insurance, and Sellers, who provide it. The platform currently offers two types of contracts: Weather contracts and Price contracts. These contracts issue payouts when specific parameters exceed predetermined thresholds within a defined time frame set by the buyers. The issue at hand is that farmers currently have limited options for fixed insurance that may not adequately address their specific needs. This platform aims to empower farmers to file insurance claims by specifying the insured area along with the parameters and values (such as excessive heat, high humidity, or drought) they wish to cover. One challenge involves presenting detailed historical data from the past decade related to selected metrics (like humidity, temperature, and prices) in a visually comprehensible manner, as this requires significant adjustments to a JavaScript library. The outcome is an online platform that allows farmers to submit claims by indicating which land is insured, the specific conditions (e.g., temperatures below or above certain degrees, average humidity above or below specific levels, etc.), and the desired payout for adverse conditions. Insurers can then propose their insurance terms, and the farmer can select an offer, finalizing the agreement, which is recorded on the blockchain. This prototype has been showcased in presentations to governments in Russia, Georgia, Armenia, and Belgium, with notable interest from Georgia and Armenia in utilizing the platform. This collection aims to recover and preserve valuable records, documents, and photographs from being forgotten, presenting them in an accessible way so that modern viewers can appreciate the vibrant yet economically challenged and depopulated area of Bulgaria. The essence of storytelling, music, and tradition is revived, and the allure and healing qualities of nature are reimagined. Personal narratives, conveyed through images, resonate uniquely and create a panorama of community life. The issue at hand is that over time, many aspects of Bulgarian history, folklore, and traditions have gradually faded. The platform's purpose is to identify and safeguard these cultural elements—captured through photographs, documents, stories, and songs—from small towns and villages in northwestern Bulgaria. The challenges include compiling comprehensive historical data for all cities and villages in the Vratsa District and presenting it in an engaging and user-friendly manner. The intended outcomes are to protect and promote the folklore and history of the Vratsa region, which is crucial given that many villages have experienced significant depopulation in recent decades, leading to the neglect and often destruction of their heritage. The online platform enables users to explore all municipalities in the Vratsa region, with detailed descriptions of each city and village that include their histories, traditions, local stories, and revolutionary figures. It allows for easy editing and addition of new settlements and narratives, with the backend developed using Laravel (PHP), while the frontend employs JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap, and MySQL serves as the database. This initiative has generated significant interest, with the site attracting up to 2,000 visits per week in the first six months after launch. Over the past year, the site has recorded impressive statistics (March 2018 – March 2019, according to Google Analytics), contributing to the client receiving the national “Hristo G.
