SsangYong is a South Korean automotive manufacturer renowned for its durable, award-winning SUVs, 4x4s, and crossovers. We serve as the dedicated automotive marketing agency for SsangYong Motor in the UK and have been promoting the Musso pickup for several years. **Challenge** Over time, SsangYong has faced increasing competition in these segments, making it crucial for any new marketing campaign to make a significant impact and effectively highlight what sets SsangYong and its products apart. The Musso is known for its impressive load capacity, towing ability, stability, and power, echoing the traits of its namesake, the Rhino. **Approach** The target market for the Musso includes professionals in the construction, agriculture, and equestrian sectors. However, anyone in need of a robust commercial vehicle that can tow 3.5 tonnes and carry 1,140 kg on the flatbed while ensuring comfort and style would also find the Musso appealing. To emphasize its capabilities, our team explored various locations to photograph the trucks in action, showcasing their strength, reliability, and comfort. Ultimately, we chose the Cotswolds, an area known for its charming towns and villages made of golden Cotswold stone. Located near SsangYong’s offices, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offered stunning backdrops to highlight the attractive pickup. **Results** After three intensive days of shooting in the Cotswolds, our project team successfully captured all the necessary photography to create various promotional materials. The Musso has always been an eye-catching truck, and the updated design enhances its appeal with added drama and impact.

Maserati targets SUV drivers with DOOH Campaign

Maserati

The Maserati brand has traditionally been linked to sporty grand tourers like the Ghibli and high-performance sedans such as the Quattroporte. However, as sales of performance sedans declined in favor of super-SUVs like the Mercedes-AMG G63 and BMW X5 M, Maserati recognized the need to create its own SUV to stay relevant and maximize growth opportunities. Leading up to the launch of the Levante, Visarc worked closely with Maserati to ensure the marketing campaign for its first SUV would make a substantial impact. **Challenge** The goal of the campaign was to increase awareness of the Maserati Levante and to compete against models like the BMW X5 and the Mercedes ML/GLE. Research indicated that many UK consumers thought Maserati vehicles were priced above six figures—a perception that was accurate for high-performance models like the Trofeo, but not for the brand's overall range. Positioning the Maserati Levante alongside its BMW and Mercedes rivals would clarify its actual market position and affordability. **Approach** As part of a carefully targeted out-of-home (OOH) campaign, Visarc and Maserati utilized vehicle recognition technology at Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) advertising spots, such as Holland Park. This segment of the campaign specifically aimed at drivers of certain competitor vehicles with real-time personalized messages. License plate recognition cameras detected competitor cars as they neared the chosen location. In real time, specific brand and model information was retrieved and used to deliver tailored messages to drivers of those specific vehicles. **Results** The campaign featured outdoor media placements in high-impact locations across major UK cities, including a 14-day run using Vehicle Recognition Panels in Holland Park, London, and Princess Road, Manchester. Loveashford rebrand and move to Umbraco CMS

Ashford Borough Council

Ashford Borough Council has been leading a national initiative to revitalize town centers in the UK for the past decade. The council has promoted adaptable planning policies, collaborated with the private sector, and, crucially, embraced digital platforms to better serve businesses and residents. Challenge: The Ashford Borough Council team believed that the initial version of the website lacked personality and failed to reflect the vibrant and creative local community. Additionally, the team found managing the outdated website challenging due to the absence of an intuitive page builder and custom components for different website sections. This made it hard to distinguish content types, such as offers and businesses, and to maintain consistency throughout the site. Approach: The project began with a workshop focused on brand development, examining audience profiles, local data, and qualitative research. Several design directions were explored, ultimately leading the client to choose a striking design influenced by Pop Art, suitable for both digital and offline mediums. To enhance the website's value as a local destination, it was essential to keep the directory updated with all local businesses. Our digital development team addressed this by establishing a regular automated synchronization between the Loveashford website and the Google Places API, ensuring effortless updates. Results: The newly revamped Loveashford website launched in late 2021, receiving an enthusiastic response from both internal stakeholders and the public. From a technical SEO standpoint, despite the inclusion of more animations and graphic elements, the website now performs significantly better in terms of performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO metrics as reported by Google PageSpeed Insights, showing an average increase of 13 points.
