Mobile Application Development
Arabia Weather aims to create mobile applications for Android and iOS, along with an Admin Panel. The application will feature an animation that displays the most recent satellite images, allowing users to pause and play the animation for various time frames—specifically 4, 12, and 24 hours—and adjust the animation speed. Additionally, there will be an option for in-app purchases for premium features.
For operating systems and server management, the project will utilize Android, iOS, Linux CentOS, and Apache Web Server, setting up a staging and production environment with version-controlled releases. This will include load balancing, server optimization, security measures including SSL implementation, backup scheduling, integration of an alert monitoring system, regular server performance tuning, software firewall configuration and maintenance, along with email server setup.
Development tools and environments will comprise Android Studio, X-Code, Objective-C, PHP, CodeIgniter, jQuery, and responsive design using Photoshop. The application will implement in-app purchases for both Android and iOS, and it will incorporate encryption and decryption via web services and data URLs. For web services, Retrofit will be used for Android and AFNetworking for iOS. The database will be managed using MySQL, including clustering, optimization for high availability, query optimization, slow query optimization, backup scheduling, alert monitoring system integration, and load balancing for the database.
