Founded in 2013, Orioly's team has gained recognition as a key influencer in the tour and experience sector in Southeastern Europe, earning a nomination as one of the best startups in the region in 2017. Secra is a prominent European company that specializes in providing channel management solutions for the promotion and booking of vacation rentals. Founded in 1999, the company has focused on creating web and business solutions for vacation rental owners, managers, and destination marketing organizations (DMOs). Secra is a well-respected and established entity that has developed numerous websites for various DMOs and integrated technologies with tourism organizations. Their main objective is to deliver technology that assists rental property owners in marketing their properties to tourists and guests. The channel manager they offer connects with over 20 online travel agencies, including Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, and several portals in the DACH region and Northern Germany. Launched as a minimum viable product (MVP) in late 2020, it has been continually enhanced in collaboration with Martin Mayer, the head of the Maklerpedia company, along with his team, who have been involved in digital and printed real estate projects for the past 15 years. The platform allows tenants to create profiles, detailing their property preferences and personal information. This enables them to share their profiles with potential landlords, print necessary documents for apartment applications, and apply for listings on various real estate boards. Landlords benefit by being able to publish their properties and manage all tenant inquiries in one location, where they can organize apartment viewings, reject applications, or connect prospective tenants with trusted agents. Meanwhile, agents utilize Miet-Gesuche to advertise their listings across multiple websites, allowing them to track and communicate with all tenant leads via a single platform. Miet-Gesuche proves to be a vital tool for agents, while tenants can streamline their search by creating one profile to use for all property listings, saving them considerable time. Our engineering team has played a key role in the development of the Orioly platform, overseeing everything from product management and project management to web application creation. This includes developing the UI/UX design, wireframing, full-stack development throughout the product lifecycle, data migrations, dashboard analytics, and deploying a CI/CD process. We have also implemented email automation sequences for all customer types: tenants, landlords, and real estate agents.
