It enables users to make and receive calls and send or receive texts and faxes. **PROJECT CHALLENGES** Developing a softphone app for various platforms demands significant effort and specialized knowledge due to the technical intricacies involved. For example, correctly configuring the VOIP library requires a specific skill set from the developers. With over a decade of experience in telecommunication projects, VEProf possesses the expertise necessary for this task. Creating software for four different operating systems necessitates having at least four native developers on the team, an uncommon organizational structure that can lead to substantial costs, particularly if the project is relatively small, resulting in potential budget overruns. VeProf successfully tackled all required tasks with just two engineers: one focusing on desktop and the other on mobile. **SCOPE OF WORK AND TECH SOLUTIONS** We organized the project into several phases. In the first two months, we addressed all the technical challenges that the previous vendor could not resolve, paving the way for a successful project launch. The second phase involved taking over the project from the former technical team and completing the MVPs for all platforms. We are currently working on finalizing the product and enhancing additional features. Our responsibilities include: - Establishing a Linphone framework - Integrating the client’s API - Developing custom push notifications for iOS - Redesigning the app - Submitting the app to the store **Project Results** Although our collaboration is ongoing, the client has already received an MVP of their applications, which has started to provide value to their customers and meet their needs. Together with the client, we plan to expand the feature set and further the product’s development.

By the time the client approached us, they already had a well-defined concept and only needed assistance beyond UI design. Thanks to effective organization and the client's ability to streamline processes, our tasks were clearly outlined. On our side, we conducted extensive research and began developing the features specified by the client. The most significant challenge was creating the audio driver, which requires considerable expertise, along with integrating Chromium. **SCOPE OF WORK AND TECH SOLUTIONS** The VEProf team for this project consisted of two members: a project manager and a desktop (macOS) engineer. We managed both the development and quality assurance phases of the project lifecycle. Within just three months, VEProf succeeded in delivering the following software solutions: - Development of the audio driver - Services for managing audio devices - CEF application - Installer - QA - Ongoing support The project is now operational and has established user engagement. The client expressed great satisfaction with our work and invited us to collaborate on updated and expanded versions of the software. Following initial user feedback, we are currently working on a Windows version and version 2.0 for macOS. We were excited to be part of such a fantastic team and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Furthermore, we launched a fully functional web application that has been in use by initial customers since September 2021.
