ABOUT VELVET PIG

The No Nonsense Video Agency

Velvet Pig emerged from a dissatisfaction with the way production companies and agencies engaged with clients, coupled with a desire to forge our own path by nurturing genuine relationships and crafting authentic branded content. Prior to establishing Velvet Pig, Alan and Louis collaborated for nearly ten years, creating a range of materials from TV commercials and film trailers to corporate videos and branded content. Their connection was rooted in a shared passion for sports, an insatiable curiosity, and a frustration with the existing norms. Velvet Pig remains committed to this same spirit of curiosity, love for sports, and ambition to make a difference.

BP Nexus Pitch

IBM iX

IBM iX is among the largest digital and design consultancies globally, featuring nearly 60 studios and a worldwide team of strategists, designers, developers, and data architects with extensive industry and ISV knowledge. They approached Velvet Pig with a script that was still being revised and a looming deadline. Collaborating closely in the following weeks, they finalized the script, recorded the voiceover, approved the storyboards, and produced the animation in record time. Due to the tight timeline, they had to modify the script and art style, opting for a clean, minimal, and timeless aesthetic instead of a more elaborate design. This decision allowed the focus to remain on a polished appearance that supported the script's pitch rather than detracting from it.

Reign: Joey Carbery Partnership Reveal

Unknown

Reign Total Body Fuel is setting the standard in the performance energy drink market by offering an innovative and healthier option that enhances athletic performance. To announce their partnership with international rugby player Joey Carbery, Reign planned to collaborate with Velvet Pig to produce a variety of promotional materials, including still images, social media content, and a short mini-documentary. The campaign, launching during the Six Nations, would prioritize social media, followed by longer content on YouTube. The videos were filmed using an Arri Amira and Alexa Mini, ensuring high-quality visuals for both the main video and all social media assets.
