The project involved a comprehensive setup and expansion of the new Magento 2 framework to meet the current and future requirements of Kaffekapslen. We managed the complete migration of products, Magento configurations, and customer data. Besides implementing Magento 2's numerous built-in features, we also developed tailored solutions, including enhanced Bundle product functionality, a Visual Merchandiser, a variety of payment and shipping options, and more. Additionally, considering Kaffekapslen experiences high traffic and processes over 5,000 orders daily, it was crucial to establish a server that would maintain consistent speed without interruptions.

### Successful Hyvä Implementation Recently, there has been considerable excitement surrounding Hyvä themes [link to> https://vconnect.biz/Hyvä-theme]—and rightfully so. When Kaffekapslen was updating their design to align with their new visual identity, it made perfect sense for us to suggest using Hyvä for this implementation. Kaffekapslen has consistently focused on optimizing every aspect of their Magento site, particularly page speed, which has proven beneficial as they’ve achieved impressive results in that area. According to their Google Analytics report, following the integration of Hyvä on September 15th, the average Page Load Time improved, and after we made some additional adjustments in October, they maintained an impressive average of under 2 seconds! This marks a significant improvement compared to their previous design implementations, which started with a substantially lower page speed score that required our team’s extensive efforts to streamline the bulky Luma theme and further optimize the frontend code. ### Custom Add-to-Cart Functionality On the category pages, we created a user-friendly feature that allows customers to manage and select product quantities in real-time, directly from the category page, without needing to reload the page. This enhancement makes it more convenient for customers to make quick and bulk purchases without the need to access individual product pages. ### Custom GA4 and GTM eCommerce Event Integration Due to the modifications we made to the "Add-to-cart" functionality, the existing analytics tracking for this action became ineffective. Thus, we needed to re-implement the Add-to-cart event within the data layer. Additionally, we expanded the data layer to include events for subcategories, as the standard implementation does not differentiate between main categories and subcategories.

Ergopartner focuses on providing ergonomic solutions for both office and home office environments, along with services aimed at enhancing workplace ergonomics. Their mission is to assist companies in fostering a healthy work atmosphere, leading to a reduction in sick days due to repetitive stress injuries and other work-related ailments. Their website primarily sells ergonomic office furniture, complemented by professional advice, and caters mainly to B2B clients. Ergopartner previously operated on a Magento 1 site, which allowed us to gather and analyze data using Hotjar and Google Analytics. These tools highlighted areas for enhancing the buyer's experience by optimizing user experience (UX), thus improving conversion rates. Our analysis revealed several issues with the current design and features; notably, the design felt outdated and failed to meet contemporary B2B expectations. For instance, there was no option for users to create accounts to enhance their shopping experience. In addition to design and UX improvements, we also needed to custom code a solution for Magento's grouped products so that clients could display products as distinct package solutions available for individual purchase. Lastly, we had to transfer product data from Magento 1 to Magento 2.
