Fleet Mortgages - a Starling Bank company

Following its acquisition, Fleet Mortgages, a specialized provider of buy-to-let mortgages that collaborates primarily with intermediaries, sought to align its brand. The company's growth was driven by strong client relationships and a capacity to handle complex needs. They engaged Valiant to create a strategic branding solution post-acquisition. Recently acquired by Starling Bank, Fleet Mortgages saw an opportunity to realign its brand and identity to better reflect that of Starling Bank. While both companies share similar values, Fleet’s market positioning lacked clarity, and its visual branding had not seen significant investment. Our task was to develop a brand strategy that capitalized on Starling's reputation while preserving Fleet Mortgages' operational autonomy, creating an identity that encapsulated the strong relationships Fleet staff have with clients and partners, along with a website that allowed for easy updates and flexibility.
