In Switzerland's highly competitive job market, the founders of Yousty.ch, a nationwide apprenticeship platform, and Professional.ch, a career site for emerging professionals, needed to rapidly expand. However, finding senior tech talent in Switzerland was both difficult and expensive. USEO provided a solution by suggesting the establishment of a near-shore IT hub in Wrocław, Poland, which aligned culturally and technically with the Zurich-based product team. To address their recruitment needs, we implemented a fully managed hiring process that required only a brief 10-minute call from the client for final approvals. Every candidate we recommended was successfully hired, completed their probation period, and remained on the project, achieving a 100% success rate in recruitment. We brought on board senior Ruby, React, and DevOps engineers, as well as UX/UI designers, via a customized and efficient onboarding process that expedited their time to productivity. When former airline pilot Geoff Hucker aimed to connect mission-driven freelancers with nonprofits, he possessed a clear vision and industry insight, but lacked a tech team. USEO stepped in as his co-creator, taking charge of product strategy, staffing, and development right from the beginning. **Challenge**: Transform an idea into a secure, scalable marketplace that could be quickly launched, manage payments securely, and demonstrate its value to early users— all on a limited startup budget. **What We Did**: We assembled a team of professionals skilled in Ruby, VueJS, and project management—all of whom were successfully hired and retained. We developed a complete minimum viable product (MVP) in just 8 months using Ruby on Rails, VueJS, ElasticSearch, and Docker. We also delivered a desktop time-tracking application in Electron and integrated ESCROW payments, identity verification (using Sumsub and QCheck), and skills assessments (via Interview Mocha). The application was hosted on Heroku to eliminate the need for a dedicated DevOps team. **Impact**: The project resulted in savings of $188,000 to $286,000 annually by avoiding on-premise infrastructure, significant DevOps costs, and the need to rewrite cross-platform apps. Low-Code (bubble.io) Energy Platform for Eltinga

Eltinga

Eltinga, a real-estate research firm based in Budapest, required an online Energy Calculator to help property owners calculate potential savings, CO₂ reductions, and retrofit expenses. However, they had only one month to roll it out while navigating a rapidly changing regulatory environment. USEO suggested using a low-code stack on Bubble.io and successfully delivered a fully functional, multilingual web application within four weeks. The team managed user experience design, integrated APIs for real-time market data, and created a user-friendly wizard interface to assist non-technical users with complex entries. Thanks to the low-code platform, Eltinga’s analysts can easily modify algorithms or add new fields in minutes instead of undergoing lengthy development cycles. As a result, they saved 115k PLN compared to a standard custom build, launched the product in 30 days, gained a competitive edge, and secured partnerships with banks and government energy grant initiatives.
