Their issue was evident: individuals were signing up for free trials but not converting to paid subscriptions. They recognized that their website was not effectively promoting the product. Initially, the plan was simply to revamp the website. However, upon further investigation, we uncovered the true problems. Many of their pages focused on features rather than demonstrating how those features benefitted users. There was no compelling reason to upgrade, no significant fear of missing out, and no clear call to action. Thus, we redesigned the pages with a primary focus on outcome-based messaging, showcasing evidence, use cases, and straightforward justifications for upgrading immediately. We prioritized revamping the feature pages to address the pain points and objectives of their target users. Every modification was informed by data—such as bounce rates, scroll depth, and dead clicks using GA4 and Microsoft Clarity. As the website became more effective, they requested our assistance with the product itself. We refined their onboarding process, addressed weak points in the user journey, and ensured that trial users had clear paths to transition to paid plans. Within 60 days, the conversion rate from trial to paid subscriptions increased from 3% to 8%, and the number of paid users rose rapidly. The bounce rate decreased by 40%, scroll depth improved, dead clicks were nearly eliminated, and demo bookings increased.
