**Challenge** Wiley is an international publishing firm that required an urgent upgrade for one of its products. The client aimed for his customers to receive a high-quality product and generate positive feedback. Consequently, Wiley sought the expertise of UNL Solutions to enhance their product with a skilled team. **Our Solution** The project involved: - A team consisting of two proficient Java developers and a QA specialist to develop the necessary application. - The introduction and implementation of Test Driven Development (TDD) within the team. - The execution of sub-tasks utilizing key principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD). - Front-end development using GWT, along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, Prototype), and Ajax through web services. - Conversion of Flash content into SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) via SVG libraries and canvas. - Implementation of XML rendering through XSL and macro templates. - Optimization of request dispatching to enhance system security. - Development of a "Type-ahead" feature using the Lucene indexing system for content indexing. **Outcome** Faced with a tight deadline, our team adopted an extreme programming methodology to ensure timely delivery. UNL Solutions has been invited to contribute to the technological development of FluxHub, Prologika’s new platform designed to enhance operations and collaboration among employees, partners, suppliers, and customers to improve daily performance. Clients can select applications that are easily customizable to fit their specific business needs and responsibilities. Our solution includes both web and mobile components, built using the prototype-based, multi-paradigm JavaScript language. Alongside JavaScript, our developers utilized Angular 6, which simplifies the development and testing processes by supporting client-side MVC and MVVM architectures. To unify the app development process with a single programming language, the team opted for NodeJS, enabling the use of JavaScript for both server-side and client-side scripts. For UI components, Angular Material was chosen for its extensive set of directives, features, and responsive design based on a flex grid. Our team is also leveraging Flex and C# to read and convert existing code into JavaScript.
