AOC: From a no-name to a leading global brand

Unknown

**Initial Situation:** Unlike in China, where AOC monitors were well-regarded, the brand owned by TPV, the world’s largest display manufacturer, was largely unfamiliar in Europe in 2008. **Task:** In 2009, our goal was to establish AOC as a recognized brand in Europe. **Implementation/Results:** We began by defining a premium brand identity, creating a new corporate identity and design, and developing a visual launch strategy. This also included designing the first websites and producing advertising campaigns and point-of-sale materials. We prioritized public relations, product testing, and achieving awards. Our collaborative efforts resulted in a significant presence in trade, specialist, and consumer media. In 2010, we executed several comprehensive online and offline communication campaigns in ten languages, including PR, print and online ads, websites, point-of-sale materials, and newsletters, which spanned over a year. During this period, we managed all communication efforts in Europe with a coordinated international team in Berlin and a staff member in Paris, ensuring comprehensive media monitoring across Europe, including competitors. Today, AOC ranks among the leading monitor brands globally and has, at times, been the top brand in the gaming sector. Numerous other agency partners have played a role in this success. Currently, we are in our fifteenth year managing product and corporate PR in DACH, the UK, Turkey, Hungary, and the Baltic States, and as the central hub agency for AOC, we oversee collaboration with fourteen other partner agencies across Europe.

SEVERIN: PR Campaign for eBBQ

Unknown

**Background** SEVERIN Elektrogeräte GmbH is a renowned German producer of reliable and long-lasting electrical household appliances, located in Sundern, Germany. Since 2023, we have been providing product PR support to the company and expanded to corporate PR in 2024. **Objective** To create a PR campaign for electric barbecues (eBBQ), with a particular emphasis on the top model, SEVO. **Execution/Outcomes** Collaborating with SEVERIN, we outlined the benefits of using an eBBQ. Our focused PR efforts successfully established the SEVO in the market, garnering a total of 102 media clippings for the SEVO and other SEVERIN electric barbecues. As a result, we were able to persuade numerous editors that eBBQs serve as a viable alternative to gas and charcoal options, notably due to the SEVO's ability to reach temperatures of up to 500 °C on the grill grate, which allows for perfect charring. The SEVO has appeared in over 100 media outlets and has been reviewed by publications such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, BILD, ImTest, and connect-living.de, where it received high ratings, including recognition in the F.A.Z. Kaufkompass.

Philips MMD: The Starting-up campaign

Unknown

Initial Situation: In 2015, Philips Monitors was a well-established brand thriving in traditional business sectors. Objective: The goal was for Philips Monitors to reach new customer segments and enhance its overall appeal. Implementation/Results: Leveraging Berlin's reputation as a hub for start-ups, we created a campaign featuring four innovative start-ups that showcased their projects and highlighted the significance of high-quality monitors for office productivity. Collaborating with Fab Lab in Berlin bolstered Philips Monitors' visibility among young, innovative companies. The campaign, supported by a microsite, social media efforts, flyers, and public relations activities, successfully linked Philips Monitors to its new audience.
