BWG Foods

Challenge BWG is the leading retail and wholesale distributor in Ireland, serving over 14,000 customers and operating the largest enterprise of its kind in the country. They distribute products through recognized brands such as Spar, Mace, and Londis. BWG needed to develop a streamlined, responsive, and high-performing application that would serve as the central stock ordering system for their network of stores. The Approach The primary goals of this project were to consolidate two existing applications into a single retail ordering system while enhancing the technical architecture to handle high traffic efficiently. We designed a completely new digital experience for users, which now generates the highest revenue e-commerce site in the UK and Ireland. The Solution Shoplink has been a tremendous success for BWG, revolutionizing the ordering process for their retail network. It has become the main ordering portal for BWG's stores, processing over €1 billion annually. **The Challenge** Knight Frank approached us to redesign their existing website due to ongoing user feedback indicating a subpar user experience. They identified three main problematic areas: property search, people search, and the presentation of their service offerings. Additionally, they faced the challenge of being constrained by a website template established by Knight Frank Global, which was utilized by more than sixty regions. **The Approach** We initiated the project with a UX research phase to pinpoint user issues and thoroughly understand the business requirements. By considering the initial user feedback, we developed a product strategy that effectively met the business goals while addressing user concerns. This strategy was crafted through our design process, which involved stakeholder interviews and various workshops. **The Solution** The final outcome was a website designed to meet user needs in a streamlined and straightforward manner. Our research highlighted the significance of a seamless search experience, so we created intuitive and highly functional user flows focused on search for Knight Frank’s target audience. We also enhanced the visibility of their service offerings, designing templates to showcase these services in a sophisticated and informative manner. The finished website fulfilled the initial brief's requirements while also embodying the brand’s rich heritage and reinforcing Knight Frank’s leading status in the property market.
