Treadaway, led by Founder and Creative Director Catherine Foster, is a specialized collective of creators, designers, writers, and strategists committed to serving clients with personalized, high-touch consultancy. Grounded in strategic design principles, Treadaway balances brand evolution with consistency to build lasting equity. Infusing New Life to a Nevada Medical Spa

New Life New Image

New Life New Image approached Treadaway Co. with two key challenges. The first was their intention to "realign the company’s direction" to convey professionalism and expertise while maintaining an aesthetic that competes with the trendier, yet less qualified, medical spas. Our aim was to craft a memorable brand experience for their customers that prioritized making them feel good first and then looking good, all while ensuring they felt cared for and secure. By applying our Strategic Branding Framework™, we redefined the communication strategy for all aspects of their brand. Every word was chosen to reflect the luxurious nature of their brand experience—transforming 'patients' into 'clientele' and 'procedures' into 'treatments.' Additionally, we focused on emphasizing what sets the New Life brand apart from its competitors by promoting a lasting beauty and confidence regimen. The new visual identity was designed to convey a luxurious and modern treatment center that avoids a clinical feel, instead presenting itself as a place for restoration and rejuvenation. In alignment with the ideas of modern luxury and advanced medical treatments, we kept the logotype simple, stressing "New Life" as the primary name. We established a visual hierarchy, placing New Image beneath and the treatment areas above the main title. Recognizing the diverse price points within the extensive service list, we aimed to distinguish the company's offerings to create various entry points for new clientele. The alternative branding options, such as Skin Bar, Beauty Bar, and The Signatures, were designed to adapt to the situation and cater to the evolving needs of buyers.

Building the Frame for a Door Design Company

Lecate Artisan Doors

In 2018, Lecate Artisan Doors reached out to Treadaway regarding a partially finished website. We first collaborated on refining the website and developing individual pages. Since that initial engagement, we have worked together on various launches, internal projects, as well as external promotional materials such as graphic designs, brochures, and advertisements. As a growing business lacking an in-house design and communications team, we collaborated closely with the founders to establish a cohesive design identity over three years before undertaking a comprehensive branding project for what is now the parent brand, Lecate. Their stunning door designs are truly remarkable, and we saw it as our responsibility to represent them through thoughtful use of whitespace, clear copy, and a focus on the artistry of Lecate Artisan Doors.

Standardizing Dr. Katie’s Supplement Series

Dr. Katie Brussard, N.D.

Dr. Katie initially contacted Treadaway with an established identity but sought a more in-depth strategy and guidance for enhancing the thought leadership aspect of her brand. After completing our Strategic Branding Framework™ and a brief refresh of her visual identity, we collaborated with Katie on various design projects, including her own line of supplements. As a specialist in gut health, hormone regulation, pain management, and immune health—primarily aimed at preventing and treating chronic diseases—this supplement line represents the next growth stage of her brand. We first defined a core design aesthetic centered on modern simplicity with a look suitable for bedside tables. In our discussions and art direction sessions with Katie, we aimed to create a design that was gender-neutral, contemporary, straightforward, and clearly communicated the product’s benefits. We also kept longevity in mind since Katie was launching the first series of many. The G Series (Gut), F Series (Foundational), and A Series (Adrenal) are part of a set of 11 health supplements that can be purchased individually or as a whole, all designed to look appealing on bedside tables.
