Share to Buy: the home of Shared Ownership

Share to Buy

Share to Buy reached out to Totally to overhaul and develop their complete property management system and website. Originally created in 2004, the software had evolved alongside the company's growth. However, in recent years, the technology had become outdated, relied on multiple suppliers, and, in some instances, was entirely unsupported. This situation posed a significant risk to Share to Buy, which had established itself as the primary contact for many first-time homebuyers and had an exclusive partnership with the Mayor of London. The brand was well-known in the "Shared Ownership" sector, and their website had gained extensive visibility in search engines for numerous key terms. An added complication arose when a tight deadline was set following the successful completion of a contract with the Mayor of London, necessitating immediate revisions to the front-end of the website. Share to Buy aimed to take advantage of this time to launch a new website while preserving their existing visibility. Other agencies had insisted that all technology should be overhauled before any website enhancements could occur. This approach would have severely affected daily operations and required over six months to complete—time that Share to Buy simply did not have.

YesRef Custom Application

Unknown

YesRef approached Totally with a pre-existing MVP web application. They had a growing user base and a wealth of ideas supported by feedback and research on how to advance their app, but lacked the technical expertise. "From the first meeting where we defined the product to the final delivery, we witnessed the technology platform come to life at every stage. Modifying the scope throughout the process in response to user feedback enabled us to work in an agile way and ultimately deliver a high-quality product that fulfilled our users' needs. After delivery, the team has been excellent in resolving any issues and enhancing the product. Above all, working with Totally has been a great experience." - Olly Rodriguez-Ballinger, CEO, YesRef

"Find a Garden" Application, Portal & SEO

Unknown

The National Garden Scheme (NGS) offers visitors the chance to explore more than 3,500 remarkable private gardens across England and Wales while generating significant funds (£60 million so far) for health and nursing charities through entrance fees, tea sales, and cake. NGS approached Totally to revamp and enhance their growing Find A Garden Search feature. With over a million users in 2021, the aim was to boost its efficiency and improve the user experience for upcoming seasons.
