**Client Challenge:** Kichler’s lighting, decorative, and landscaping division was venturing into unfamiliar territory with the introduction of their Smart Control Timer, a device that allows users to control landscape lighting digitally through the Kichler Connects™ app on their smartphones. While the Kichler team had experience in marketing physical lighting products, they needed to adapt their strategy for a product primarily driven by an app. Additionally, they were shifting their target audience to include professional landscapers and contractors. Alongside raising awareness for the Smart Control Timer and its benefits, they aimed to encourage app engagement. **Solution:** The goal was to get the Smart Control Timer into the hands of landscapers and contractors while highlighting its convenient features, along with motivating users to engage with the Kichler Connects™ app. **Method:** Acknowledging the learning curve associated with this new product, we collaborated closely to devise a strategy that would achieve all of Kichler’s objectives. It was decided that a blend of paid social media and programmatic advertising would effectively reach the new audience. **Impact:** Following the rollout of paid social and programmatic ads, the overall reach doubled, and impressions surpassed expectations. At the launch of the product page, over 6,000 visitors accessed the landing page. Kichler was excited about these initial results and continues to leverage social and programmatic advertising to promote their diverse range of products, helping them connect with their audience and strengthen customer relationships.

Big Fig: Scaling Social Media Audiences

**Client Challenge** In a sector dominated by major brands, Big Fig aimed to engage with individuals and build a genuine community. Larger corporations often fail to understand the experiences of plus-sized individuals and the feelings of exclusion tied to weight. Previously, plus-sized consumers had no access to high-quality, supportive mattresses that would last longer than a few years of use. Therefore, Big Fig set out to address this gap by creating a new mattress designed specifically for this community. By creating engaging posts that sparked conversation and encouraged involvement, we were able to build connections and maintain user engagement even after they purchased a mattress. Active community management led to enhanced brand loyalty and higher engagement rates. Our team is committed to responding to all mentions of the brand and inquiries regarding mattresses for plus-sized individuals. **Impact** In 2021, Big Fig experienced a 72% increase in impression rates across social media platforms compared to 2020. Thanks to our team's efforts, we effectively engaged users before, during, and after their mattress purchases. Not only did we reach a broader audience, but the content shared also resonated strongly with them, resulting in a 143% increase in engagement rate.
