We improved the existing product to maximize customer engagement during the redevelopment process. We refined the brand and utilized it to connect with new clients through a revamped marketing site. Our team rebuilt the platform, applying our research findings to enhance the experience for both clients and candidates across various scenarios. Our technology provided a solid and flexible foundation for adding new and innovative features. After a sustained period of development and support for the new platform, Hillgate successfully attracted more users and formed new partnerships, ultimately culminating in a successful exit. They have now completed a buyout from BTG Group, a leader in management consultant recruitment.

Finbourne embodies this ambition with an innovative platform designed to transform how investment data is stored, accessed, and analyzed. Their subsequent goal was to develop a well-designed app that could leverage this platform to its fullest. They required a customized tool that was not only user-friendly and intuitive but also adaptable to the varying needs and platforms of their clients. That's where we came into play. We collaborated with Finbourne to outline the dashboard, visualizations, and user journeys, striving to understand the needs of the end user by engaging closely with business architects, traders, performance managers, and other financial services experts. Together with Finbourne and key stakeholders, we iteratively refined user journeys and designs. Finbourne was also given access to our task list, allowing them to monitor our progress and provide input on priorities. We employed an Agile development approach, featuring bi-weekly releases, which allowed Finbourne and their clients to provide feedback on the dashboard as it evolved. This phased delivery helped generate interest from various stakeholders, including investors, partners, and end users. To ensure that they could sustain and enhance the app post-project, we also established integration workflows and code review protocols for Finbourne’s development team to follow.
