Portfolio

Almost Home Kids : Wordpress Theme and Custom Modules

Unknown

Thirdwave collaborated with Liska & Associates to create and launch the Almost Home Kids public website. They developed a custom WordPress theme and integrated custom WordPress modules by coding in PHP for the new platform.

Archdiocese of Chicago : Multi-tenant Web CMS Platform

Unknown

Crosby Associates enlisted Thirdwave's assistance when the Archdiocese of Chicago sought better management of their websites. Over time, the Archdiocese's web presence had expanded into an overwhelming number of sites across various platforms. Thirdwave conducted an initial technical assessment and consulting, followed by implementation and training for the Archdiocese’s existing staff. Now, the Archdiocese operates on a single platform—the Liferay Portal Platform—resulting in visually appealing sites and significantly improved control. The services provided included consolidating web CMS platforms, applying consistent themes to reinforce a fresh and modern brand, meticulous attention to detail on all devices, content migration, staff training and enablement, reliable hosting, and the development of custom mapping and calendar applications.

Road to Close : Real Estate Transaction Management Platform

Unknown

A well-known Chicago Real Estate Attorney came up with an excellent idea to simplify and make the real estate closing process—from contract to closing—more transparent. No similar solution existed in the market. Thirdwave was brought on board to develop the new application, handling everything from conceptualization and wireframing to design, prototyping, and building the beta version. Prioritizing user experience throughout the design, we understood that real estate professionals needed a clean, mobile-optimized interface. Additionally, Thirdwave offered tradeshow support, including a product demo and a lead generation system. The application is currently in its Beta phase and is steadily gaining traction in the market.
