In this project, Think Circuits translated sophisticated EEG signal processing algorithms from Python research code into a C implementation for an STM32 target processor. This facilitated the modification of the EEG signal chain to make it suitable for operation in an embedded setting.

R&D of novel wearable AI interface

Designed and developed a tailored wearable research platform that records electrical biosignals like EEG, EMG, EKG, and PPG. This involved creating real-time firmware with ESP-IDF and conducting signal capture and analysis using Python. Worked together with team members to ensure proper mechanical alignment between the circuit boards and their enclosures. Created a second version as a product proof-of-concept, employing HDI multilayer PCB processes to shrink the device to its smallest form. The firmware for this concept was developed using STM32 and a classic Bluetooth stack.
