Its permanent collection features more than 93,000 works by European, American, Asian, Canadian, and Indigenous artists. By exhibition space, it ranks among the largest art museums in North America. Over an 8-month period, we worked closely with subject matter experts throughout the gallery to develop design solutions that catered to various audience needs, including those from the cultural sector, art historians, and researchers. This hands-on collaboration was conducted using Agile development methods, specifically focusing on the integration of the online collection, which includes over 70,000 unique works and millions of curatorial data points.
