Salesforce Community Cloud Customization

Unknown

**Client Background**: The client currently holds a community license and utilizes the Salesforce Community cloud solution to facilitate collaboration among investors, agents, and manufacturing units on various deals. However, the existing platform no longer meets user needs, as they require more personalized collaboration options along with a new set of roles and permissions. The Community Cloud lacks the necessary flexibility, and the client is constrained by budget limitations for upgrading their Salesforce edition. **Delivered Solution**: A solution was provided by creating customized user roles and implementing a modified sharing logic based on Salesforce's default sharing model. A custom permission granting mechanism was developed, allowing users with different roles to access the necessary records. Thorough code reviews and testing were conducted to ensure the solution functioned as intended for the business, resulting in significant cost savings for the client.
