Camelot Management Consultants

Camelot, a leading provider of supply chain management solutions with 25 years of global experience, reached out to us upon deciding to expand into the Polish market. Their aim was to establish a new office and tap into the talent pool of Polish IT professionals. Following a strategic meeting where we showcased our scrum-based team sourcing methodologies, shared market reports, and outlined our proposed approach, Camelot chose Team Up as their exclusive recruitment partner in Poland. Since then, we have been progressively building the new Camelot branch by offering market insights and guidance on subsequent steps. We hold regular debriefings to set priorities, refine processes that enhance the candidate experience, and relay feedback from candidates to the Camelot team.

On January 8th, Friday, we received a request for support and conducted a team briefing with the client regarding the situation. On January 11th, Monday, we established a 3-person project team comprised of 1 Project Lead and 2 IT recruiters, and held a "Sprint Planning Meeting." During this meeting, we defined the sprint goal, developed an effective strategy to achieve it, and outlined the sprint schedule. Based on our strategy, the team identified specific tasks that were added to the backlog and assigned to appropriate team members, with the choice of tasks being made collectively by the group. On January 13th, Wednesday, the team convened for a "Daily Scrum" to assess our progress towards the goal, address project challenges, share further insights, and discuss lessons learned. It’s worth noting that while the term "Daily" implies meetings should occur every day, the recruitment team chose to meet every other day. This decision was influenced by the fact that team members often juggle up to 3 projects simultaneously, which would lead to an overwhelming number of daily meetings. On January 18th, Monday, we conducted a sprint review to evaluate our progress towards the sprint goal and determined the need for an additional sprint to fully achieve our objectives. This cycle was subsequently repeated the following week. After the initial review, the Project Lead updated the client on candidate acceptance rates and the current market situation. On January 25th, Monday, during the review of the second sprint, we concluded that the candidate pipeline was strong and ceased active sourcing. We prepared and delivered our standard report to the client summarizing the two sprints, detailing our activities, challenges encountered, results, and a market analysis. As a result of the two recruitment sprints (spanning 2 weeks), we submitted 6 candidate profiles to the client, of which 4 were invited for interviews. Ultimately, one candidate received a job offer and was hired.

MSI

Micro-Star International is a worldwide firm that creates high-quality computer software. The company reached out to us for local recruitment assistance. Following initial meetings, Team Up was granted exclusive support to locate a System Administrator for its Wroclaw office in Poland. A week after our briefing with the client, we initiated a focused effort with a team of three. We developed a sourcing strategy that yielded excellent results, presenting a total of seven candidates to the client, including four in the initial sprint. Our ongoing communication enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the hiring manager's requirements, and four weeks later, one of the candidates we put forward received and accepted a job offer.
