International UX Audit for SEAT
**Project Objectives**
Prior to a significant overhaul of their website, SEAT aimed to identify the enhancements that would most effectively improve the online experience for users in Spain, the UK, and Germany, across both desktop and mobile platforms. Consequently, they asked us to design and implement a tailored approach to evaluate user experience and create a targeted improvement strategy.
**Global Reach**
We developed a specialized research plan for the three countries, integrating elements that addressed the unique characteristics of each market. Our extensive experience in global research allowed us to quickly formulate the research tasks, and with the support of our international team, we managed to conduct the majority of the activities internally. For tasks requiring local expertise, we leveraged our partners' wide network, enabling us to execute user research initiatives in over 30 countries.
**Comprehensive Approach and Mixed Methods**
The scope of the study and the need to present our findings in a succinct set of prioritized recommendations led us to create a tailored research plan that employed a mix of techniques. We began by gaining a comprehensive understanding of the issues through various quantitative methods. This involved analyzing data from the three websites alongside a True Intent survey conducted with over 1200 users during their actual visits. This approach helped us identify the main motivations for website visits and pinpoint the scenarios and areas that caused the most frustration for users. Subsequently, we used the findings from this initial phase to delve deeper into the critical aspects of the experience through additional techniques. Finally, we performed an expert review and user testing across the three sites, enabling us to uncover the root causes of the issues and devise effective solutions.
