After conducting thorough research, it became evident that existing options were either too simplistic or outdated. TBR Group assisted in enhancing the app with a range of new features. Our primary objective was to design a system that allows for flexible content management. To enable app users to see all content, we implemented a backend feature called "block." This allows clients to arrange which elements are displayed on specific screens and in what order. The key challenge was to enable users to customize app content via the backend. To achieve this, we utilized Firestore, enabling the client to add, remove, and modify nearly all backend content, with changes taking effect in real-time. All data retrieved from the backend is stored offline, and we utilized SQLite for this embedded software. Consequently, whenever a user logs in or registers, we pull all necessary information from Firestore and store it in the local database. The app's mechanism ensures that users can access current data at any time. Additionally, we created multiple app versions derived from a single code base, using flavors to manage them. Each version corresponds to a specific flavor, allowing TBR Group engineers to determine which backend to utilize. Outcome The app is now available on Google Play and Apple stores for users looking to alleviate stress and find relaxation. It has accumulated over 900 installs and holds a 4.4-star rating based on 56 reviews in the Google Play store. TBR Group is actively working on enhancing the app with new features.
